Myatt and Genevieve Volentine Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Unit

A gift from the Volentine Family Foundation, under the direction of their daughter Diane Hayes,  provided the funding for construction of a new cardiac unit twice the size of the previous department. Patients are able to enjoy private exercise areas separate from diagnostic testing and other services. Family members are able to join their loved ones as they work through rehabilitative services.

The MNB Graff/Thomas Family Wellness Center

A decision that involved, Brain Esch, President of McCook National Bank and members of the Graff and Thomas families lead to the gift that funded construction of the Wellness Center within the new Rehabilitation Center. The Wellness Center provides three times the current space for physical and occupational therapy services. Added equipment and provisions for more privacy enhance patient’s therapy outcomes.

The Leo & Irene Timmerman Aquatic Therapy Center

The families of Leo & Irene Timmerman selected the Aquatic Therapy Center as a fitting gift to honor their parents while providing specialized therapy for the people in our region now and into the future. The aquatic pool provides a temperature-controlled environment where therapists can work with patients to better improve mobility. The natural buoyancy and resistance of water also enhance rehabilitation.
