Fund Raising Events
The Community Hospital Health Foundation working with
volunteer committees plan and implement events in which
the proceeds go directly to the development of key
programs at Community Hospital. Our patients, their
families and our staff benefit greatly from the funds
raised through these events.
Annual special events sponsored by the Community
Hospital Health Foundation include:
Golf tournament held in June each year at McCook's
Heritage Golf Course.
Contributions raised annually through this gala event
are used to fund projects and programs of Community
Hospital.
Community Hospital Employee Annual Appeal
The 2004-2005 Employee Campaign generated gifts and
pledges from 63 employees totaling $37,000 to the
Capital Campaign. Of the 63, 13 are first time or new
donors, 20 are past donors that added a campaign pledge
to their current payroll deduction and 29 are employees
who elected to redirect their contributions to the
campaign. A total of 130 employees (56%) are gifting to
the Foundation for various programs (Emergency Fund,
Hospice, Scholarships, etc.), in addition to the 63
gifting to the Capital Campaign.
